On With October

October started off with a convienently timed (since we just joined the new Sunday school group - Foundations) Church "choose a Bible study to be in for married couples" picnic where we signed up for the McClure's (another couple in the Church) study, just for the name of course!  No, we liked their set up which included in depth Bible study and accountability time.  The McClure study was growing so has now divided in two, and we are led by the Andrings.  I haven't been able to make it yet since I've had to work, but I will go in November.  Joe said the study on James is going well so far though. 

This month we also started a Bible study in our apartment complex.  The first night Joe and I looked at each other until 7:30 and then decided it was probably going to be just us that night.  But during an apt. social I met one girl and she came the next week!  So the three of us are going over some basic Christian values, faith, hope, this next week will be love.
